Waffle Brownies

Cook time
Total time
  • Brownie Waffles:
  • 1 box brownie mix, prepared according to instructions - I used Ghiradelli dark chocolate with chocolate chips
  • Cooking spray
  • Whipped Cream:
  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Toppings:
  • Strawberries
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Prepare brownies according to package instructions.
  2. Preheat a waffle iron and coat generously with cooking spray.
  3. Pour in just enough brownie batter to fill the waffle iron without letting the batter overflow.
  4. Close the waffle iron and cook until done, about 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your waffle iron.
  5. Unplug or turn off the waffle iron. Let the waffles cool in the machine for 10-15 minutes before opening the iron.
  6. While the waffles cool pour the heavy cream into a large bowl. Whip the cream with a hand mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form, about 2 to 4 minutes. Add the vanilla and powdered sugar and continue whipping until soft peaks return, about 2 to 4 minutes.
  7. Open the waffle iron and use a fork to gently remove the waffles.
  8. Top the waffles with whipped cream, powdered sugar and fresh strawberries.
