Apple-Mango Turkey Burger

Serves: 4
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and grated
  • 1½ pounds ground turkey breast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Mango Chutney
  1. Place all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix all ingredients until thoroughly combined.
  2. Form mixture into 4 patties of equal size, each about ½" thick.
  3. Prepare your grill for direct cooking over medium heat (350-450 degrees).
  4. Brush the cooking grates clean. Grill your burgers over direct medium heat, with the lid closed, 8-10 minutes, turning once.
  5. Serve with whole-grain buns, lettuce, tomato and your favorite cheese.
